The Little Dot brewing
Brewing tea does not need to be complicated. Different tea lover has their tea concentration preference. Below is our suggestion and feel free to adjust after your first cup of tea.
Making a great cup of tea only needs tea leaves, a mug, and a tea infuser. Why use a tea infuser instead of putting the tea leaves directly into the mug? A tea infuser will keep any tea leaves from floating freely in your cup while you drink, as you probably don’t want to be chewing on tea leaves while you drink! It also allows you to stop steeping the tea to prevent it from getting bitter.
Hot tea
So here we go, get an infuser, 1 tablespoon of tea leaves, and add hot water until the tea leaves are loose. This normally takes about 3-4 minutes.
Ice tea
Yes! You heard me right, during summertime I love to put ice in my tea. Steep 2 tablespoons of tea leaves, but double the time as you would with the hot tea. When the tea is ready, pour the tea into a cup of ice.
